I could do that with my dad's truck. Low range+1st gear=1MPH. :D

I've heard of guys that are seriously into rock crawling do that with thier buggies.

How do they steer the car when they're outside? It seems like they're risking the car not running into anything.

if they're dancing outside of their still moving vehicle to "look cool" do you really think they're bright enough to consider all the ramifications of letting a vehicle go on it's own?

As long as they don't hurt others or themselves...

"Whip"=car

"Ghost ride"=ride on a car w/o a driver

Edit: I believe the term "ghost ride" originally started with a move that a motorcycle can do (whether intentional or not) where the rider jumps/falls off and the bike continues to go under it's own power/momentum using gyroscopic forces to keep it up and straight.

It helps to go 3mph in link #1 and in link #2 he was going more like 15mph with a truck that needs some serious alignment

Most roads have a crown to them to take care of water drainage. A properly aligned car WILL drift to the shoulder on a crowned road. The truck started going straight, then the crown pushed it to the side more and more until it was on the curb.
