I am interested in purchasing this game but heard that it requires a CC fee to play? Is this true? Where do you play it at? Zone, Gamespy, etc?

You don't need a CC to play it online.

You can do it through ubi.com or GameSpy, but there are also some other servers out there if you search enough.
