Ghost Recon crashing

[Achtung]

For no apparent reason, sometimes when I am playing Ghost Recon, the game will just crash, and I'll get a bunch of random colors on the screen. The only way out is to reboot. This has also happened once when I was playing NHL 2002. I already tried downloading the newest video drivers for my GeForce 4 Ti4200, and it didn't help. Is there another possible problem?
