Ghost Recon 2 Question

I have an XBOX 360 and I want to start playing the Ghost Recon games and I have a question. If I rent Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike does it require me to have the first Ghost Recon 2 complete or even played? Thanks

I doubt it does, not 100% though, but I remember that you could play rainbow six 3: black arrow (I think thats what its called) without having played the original rainbow six 3 on xbox.

Alright cool I will probably rent it then tonight, but if anyone is 100% sure it will work without the playing the first ghost recon 2 let me know please. Thanks

No. I was playing it last night on my 360 and have never owned the original GW2.

As someone who owned GR2: Summit Strike, but never played GR2... I am 100% sure that it works.

summit strike 2 is stand alone. i only own that game for xbox and dont need anything else for it to run. read the box. it says it on there.
