When I was young I always thought about making something like this for Halloween. That was back in the early 90's. Now quadcopters make it possible.

Can't find the article, but I've seen this one on weird facts -

LOL I so need a better quadcopter. I just have a cheap $80 version and I doubt it could lift that weight. I have a perfect reaper too.

How much of that is a setup? Would people really run scared from something like that? Like....that it's really a ghost or demon? Is that kind of ancient belief so prevalent?


My only interest in getting away would be to avoid the quad's rapidly spinning blades, though a lot of those quads weren't moving terribly quickly in the first place.

Yeah, even the small ones have a distinctive motor whine due to having multiple motors & blades. Even if you flew it 100 feet up, you'd still hear it pretty clearly.

That one was the best by far, you could not see the Quad's arms at all so it was done really well!.
