anyone having aspect ration problems? If so you media player classic. I believe it fixed it by going to 16:9

..or something..:p

The animation quality is friggin awesome but I found that the movie isn't as well written as the TV series (Standalone Complex & 2nd GIG).

If you like GitS2 then you should also check out Appleseed 2005. Animation is great in that one as well, though I liked GitS2's effects more. The plotline for Appleseed is done better.

I can't get it any louder:(

ahh, well its not me then so thats good

I have to figure out how to fix it..there must be a gain option somewhere:(

Goosemaster. I'm thinking of making an HD setup myself. I wanna convert my desktop to an HD HTPC station (recording hd shows, movies etc.) but I haven't done it before so I got a couple questions:
1) Are these HD clips you put up recordings from HDtv broadcasts or do you get them from somewhere else?
2) What hardware/software do you use to record HDtv straight to the computer? What do you recommend as far as HDTV tuner card? software? etc.
3) Is it possible to encode DVDs in HD format to increase the res.?

This should prolly go into an HTPC thread but I figured someone posted one already and I didn't want to get flamed for it.
