Ghost in the shell 2

As the all lnowing thread summary line reads, I jsut saw Ghost i nthe Shell the other day and was interested in seeing Ghost in the Shell 2

is it worth it?

i don't think it's as good as the first one, but it's still worth watching due to the concept it brings and the highend action animation and creativity

they overused the quotes in the movie however. every dialogue just has to include a quote that was said from some famous person.

the style is a bit wierd too, since it was very different from the movie and the series, but it seems the GITS2 innocence takes place some time after GITS1. just that the style and cars and architectures and computer gui's are all different..just a bit wierd i guess.

The style of GITS2 reminded me a lot of Avalon, which Oshii also made.

i saw it, its worth watching simply because of the amazing artistry and music. it follows a similar formula where androids get weird and the story tries to cross that artificial intelligence philosophical line. there did seem to be a rather sly use of esoteric symbolism though which made me appreciate it a bit more.

oohhhhhh!!! by 'I' you mean 1.... even tho you used 2 in the title 😛

i havnt seen one in awhile but would like to see two

Seriously though, almost every other line in that movie was a quote from some famous person.... seriously, that got old pretty quick and made for some pretty lame dialogues.
