Anyone knows how to ghost a partition to a file under LINUX?? Would dd work? And last, how could I retore the image file in DOS?
Thanks

I used Ghost to duplicate a Linux drive to an entire lab. That was the whole drive though...

You could always tar & gzip it and find a dos/win util to untar/gzip

You should be able to do this with the Ghost application from Norton. I believe you can get a trial of 5.1 (last I checked) from their web site. This should allow you to do a partition. I know that it was in the specs for 5.1 to be able to ghost Linux drives (and partitions for that matter)
