Ghost image- 2 files per cd???

JEDI

Lifer
i ghosted my pc. it took 3 cds. usually it's one big file (~700meg).

But this time there are 2 files per cd:

cdr00001.gho
cdr00002.gho

cdr00003.gho
cdr00004.gho

cdr00005.gho

And the files arent evenly split. something like 250meg and 350meg

anybody know why ghost split it into 2 files per cd?

Dude, you got a problem there. If it is ONE image and Ghost has to split it, the file format should be *.gho for the first file and *.ghs for all other spanned files.

did you use the windows version or DOS ? There's switches that you may have enabled accidentally that caused the spanning... and JackBurton is right about the extensions... check your options.

i've always enabled spanning and it never created 2 files per cd b4.

i just re-ghosted w/o the spanning optiuon. it went to 3 cds like normal. 1 files per cd.

what dfoes spanning option do then???
