Ghost Hunters software?

My friend and I were discussing software and we are trying to find the name of a software program they show quite often on the Ghost Hunters tv show.
Its software they show when they recorded some mysterious (ghost?) sound. They point to one of the screen icons to show the sound. Apparently it is pretty common software.
Anyone see the show and recognize the software?
