Ok, so I haven't been able to find out a reason for this yet, so I'm asking all you guys. I'm using Win2K pro and whenever I tell the OS to stop communicating with my usb drive, the drive isn't completely unmounted. It says that its stopped, and I can remove it with no issues, but explorer still lists the drive designation as being present. I can view the "drives" properties and it lists it as a drive with 0 used/free space. Its not really an issue other than the fact that each time the drive ends up as a different letter (currently using P). Does anyone have any idea why explorer would keep the designation when the drive is stopped??
Thanks guys
