Ghost cd burn

Can anyone tell me what speed ghost will burn a CD . Does it use the highest speed the CD/RW can use . If the burner is a 10x and the CD recorder disk is 6x does ghost know what to do. I have tried using 6x CDs and 16x CDs and 3 of the 6x failed and 1 of 2 of the 16x failed. The Burner is 10x.
Appreciate any info.
Thanks

I used Ghost 2002 with my HP 10X CDRW and it burned fine at 10X. You should use media that is compatible with the drive. If you're using 6X CD-R media, then chances are that the CD-R will burn at 6X max. The 16X shouldn't give you a problem because that's the same speed media that I used for my Ghost CD Images. What brand is the media? It might be some cheap brand, so you might want to try out some Fujis because they're high quality CD-Rs. Hope this helps.
