ghetto-ness leads to Wheel of Fortune loss

Pat Sajak sounded like this guy after she said that.

You can tell Pat was annoyed with the judges as his responses got shorter and lower.

I heard "simmin" with no g.

That's not ghetto, it's some sort of hick speak.

More or less just an accent thing (could be southern, could be hill country). Even with Pat's explanation at the end, that was still cold and she was completely screwed out of what was rightfully hers. Some people have a hell of a time pronouncing things in a "correct" fashion, stressing sounds they've rarely if ever made in a specific order.

I mean hell, she was the one that called for the G in that word anyway. She obviously knew it was the end sound of the word.

You can fault her to a degree, as she should have the foresight to stress pronunciation in a certain way to ensure clarity on a show like Wheel of Fortune... but she was right.

One of the comments pointed out that they both pronounced the word "A" wrong by saying "uh" and neither should receive a price.

She was clearly fucked over because the G was on the board so it was not like she could have missed it.

Glad to see someone else fucked over for a change though.

wff has to stick by the rules, but the song is often sung with swimmin'. It's neither ignorant nor wrong, but an oft used variation, still, she needed to say the g for the game.

There was an episode from lonnnnnng ago where none of the contestants were able to say "St. Thomas Aquinas" correctly.

That's just rotten of the judges to deny her that, she solved the puzzle, you know it, we all know it. Show's over but they should cut her a check for the amount that puzzle was worth when she solved it, I hope it goes viral to further embarrass the fucking pricks..

honestly though for as much money wheel of fortune gives out i hard suspect this is foul play. the judges are probably just trying to be fair but just going a little too far.

Thats such bs.. she did all the work on the puzzle. Even the other chick was all confused why she got denied.
