gforce 6800 normal?

I was looking at buying a normal 6800 for around $300. Is this any good compared to the 6800gt. I have a gforce 5200 256mb now i'm guessing it would be better than that but how much better?
 
A LOT BETTER. The 6800 is good bang for your buck, I recommend it.

Edit: They have it at outpost for 250 I believe.
 
Yes, it's a great card in the mid-range. Just remember it has 'only' 12-pipes but it'll be much faster than ATI's and nVidia's last highend cards: the Radeon 9800XT and the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra. Go for it!🙂
