I have a geforce 2 64 meg AGP graphic card in a ecs k7s5a mobo.
If I take it out and first install it, it will load up and detect what kind of card it is in the hardware profile, but the adapter settings are < unavailable >. The video output is poor, and there are little dots on the screen if you select something or move a window. If I try to install the XP drivers from nvidia I have another problem.
When it boots up, after the windows logo screen, the screen goes black. It does not quit loading, and I can login into windows, but the screen just goes black.
I tried a RIVA TNT 2 32 meg card with no luck as well. Boots up, but the screen goes black.
I tried an S3 Virge 4meg PCI and that worked fine.
The AGP cards work fine and I have tried them both successfully in other computers.
Any suggestions?
