I have a 128mb golden sample gainward. How high do these and other ti4200's usually o/c to?

I got the same card, The Gainward Ti 4200 8x 128MB GS, VIVO

stock it is at 250/513, enhanced mode is 270/540

i have it oc'ed to 290/621 stable

max i was able to do was 304/633 so far, but i am only running the standard cooling on the GPU and memory that was installed.

Hope this helps.

My XFX Ti4200 128MB 8X AGP card doesn't seem happy at anything more than 285/535. Grrrr.

Typically it seems most TI4200s will OC to about Ti4400 speeds 275/550 on stock cooling without any artifacts. Just remember YMMV.

Yeah, most 128MB Ti4200's go to 275+/550. Most 64MB Ti4200's go to 275+/~600.

I have 2 of the same cards. One does 315/545 and the other 315/585, using coolbits. I recommend bumping it to 275/530 and then stepping it up slowly from there to see where it goes. How does it work-- if you get artifacts then your memory is too high (second number), but a hard freeze means the core is too high (first number)? I don't remember, but thought I read that somewhere.

My first Gainward GS 128mb did 325/650 flawlessly on stock cooling!
Man...I hate that it was "accidentally" messed up! :-O

My new one does 320/600 :(
