GF4 in old computer

I put an G4 4200 in an old P3 500 computer and now it is stone dead.
Does the GF 4 use a different voltage than the old TNT2 card that was in there before?
Have I burnt the mobo or what???
 
Your old computer may not be able to supply enough power to keep the new video card happy. Have you tried putting the old video card back in to see if it works? What kind of power supply do you have? Can you list your other system specs?
