GF3 ti200 not showin version before bootup?

I'm not even sure about what i'm talking about is called, but just as you turn on the computer, normally the video card (prior to post) will take a second or t2o to display its brand/model... In my Trinity 400 both my voodoo 4, and a friends diamond monster fusion both did this:


Voodoo 4 4500 AGP
32.0 MB Memory
blah blah blah...

then continues to post..



but my asus 8200 does not.. it just flashes like green verticle lines with some red in the back ground.. should i be worried about this?

That's the video card BIOS loading at bootup. I guess as long as the card works fine, there shouldn't be a problem.

I was whinning about the same thing on a thread some time ago for my Radeon VE and we all concluded that the card's ID while booting is just an advertisement and nothing more...! :) After all, everyone with this symptom had a card that works just fine....
