After reading the article on how to improve the image quality of the GeForce series cards, I was skeptical on whether I should do it or not. After all, you're messing with the hardware and secondly, I've had about 4 cups of some really strong coffee. I was even more apprehensive due to the caffeine jitters :p

Anyway, I steadied myself as much as I could (barring any muscle relaxants) and proceded to remove the resistors. They came off surprisingly easy. Just used the end of a pocket knife and, BAM! I was done. I looked my Leadtek GTS over, then once again to make sure I didn't slip and remove anything else. All was in order and the moment of truth was ready to happen.
To my glee, everything came on as it normally did and the bios POST was where I noticed a difference. Much crisper. Windows...way crisper. I'm impressed. I was happy to begin with but now..I'm even better. Text is much sharper, especially at higher resolutions and AUTOCAD 2k looks better as well. Haven't tried games yet but I'm not expecting anything there.

Anyway...Kudos to me. If it failed...good excuse for a new vid card :D

Link? My IQ is pretty good, but I'm just wondering exactly what is causing this and whether or not I have it...

I may have seen a slight difference/improvement on my Creative Annihilator2, but not a huge improvment, and so small that I'm not really even sure it exists.

I guess the level of improvement may vary between the card manufacturers. Or I'm looking too hard..........
