maybe u can get her an "outfit"
nice pair of designer jeans, top, some shoes, undies u can rip off later that night

it would help if u told us what type of girl she is. yea she's girly, but is she into fashion? or do clothes not matter to her? considering she's sportin tiffanys, im assuming she's somewhat into her appearance. does she even like electronics? does the $300 include the cost of dinner you'll probably be spending or just the gift itself? spa treatments are nice, but to me, they just dont seem worth the money. a 90 minute treatment at burkewilliams will go for around 100-200. yea it'll feel good at the time but i dont know if its "birthday gift" worthy. maybe for valentines or an anniversary. little more input and hopefully i can help u out more.

Ooh, I like the digicam idea, she doesn't have one. She's girly, into fashion, buys too much clothes, heh. She loves to shop, tans in the winter. She doesn't wear makeup tho, which i prefer.

I absolutely agree about the spa treatments, they're nice, but I don't think they are worth it.

Designer jeans are a good idea.... but isn't that something she would have to try on? to make sure it fit well.

$300 is just for the gift, dinner is seperate.

Dont buy any clothes, yeah... DONT! Unless you absolutely know her inside and out. Even then, its a shot in the dark.

yea, designer jeans are something you have to try on. unless ur happy with her takin back the crap you chose out.

i mentioned whole outfit cuz just jeans, not matter how expensive they are, might seem a bit "weak" when it comes to a birthday present. there's a number of digicams out there that you can get for $300.

Yeah, I think I will go that route or the shopping spree route.......

a new watch if she wears watches

or some nice diamond earrings that can be worn daily - unless she's one of those girls who wears different earrings every day

If you go for a digicam, get something small & slim. The Canon SD450 and SD600 are pretty slick and fit in your pocket easily. The Sony W50 is another good one. They only sell it in silver, so if you want a "stand out" one, get a black/silver one from Japan:

Casio makes a number of cameras (decent quality) that are very thin and come in different colors:

I've seen pink cameras around, but I don't know who makes them.

I have the Sony W50 and I highly recommend it... it is small, takes great pictures, has a 2.5" LCD.

Most women love "events". Try to find something that she would really like that you might not be so excited about. You can always get her "stuff" but I'll bet that she'd like to do something memorable together just as much, if not more.

Ideas:

Weekend trip at a nice B&B in the country
Hot air balloon ride
Two great tickets to the opera / ballet / theater
etc.

- G

Romantic weekend at a nice hotel.
Nice dinner dress to go along with her nice dinner.
Hot sex, preferrably in the hottub.

I read it like this for some reason. Haha.

But seriously just take her out to a nice dinner and get her a locket or something like that.

I've discovered this as well.

guys = stuff (hardware)
girls = events (memories)

best idea so far for the girl that has everything...
EXCEPT: DON'T HAVE SEX IN A HOT TUB....EVER!!!... just not good for her insides at all... can lead to infection.

tell her that you just want to go somewhere for dinner, give her the dress to put on before and have her bags packed so she has no idea you are spending the night!
