She's telling me that because radio is free to the listener, they should be allowed to whatever they want. This is mostly in reference to the FCC and how they've been censoring Howard Stern, etc...
Now I understand that sponsers don't want their products/service being represented by "lewd" material. However, she thinks that the FCC getting involved is actually depriving people of their first amendment rights... and I KNOW this is wrong because FM radio is privately owned, right?
I'm not an expert in law, but for some reason I think that the first amendment (freedom of speech) isn't mandatory when it comes to privately owned organizations...
