Right Wing, Gun Toting, Ultra Conservative. Normally I would think that was a compliment but she was yelling it at me in anger. Why? Because we were talking about sodas, drinks, etc... and I said something about kids loving Kool-Aid to which she responded. "Well my kids are never having Kool-Aid or cookies. That's too much sugar and kids don't need sugar. They can have milk, and carrots instead." I told her she was being a little extreme and then she went off on me....jeez........

Kool Aid and cookies are food of the gods. Why should you keep these tastey treats from the people who can enjoy them the most, the children?

I believe that the word of the day for your girlfriend would be "vallium". :p By the way, thank her for me. Because of her causing you to post this thread regarding Kool-Aid, I now know what I'm going to do the instant I get home from college this Saturday, I'm going to make myself a nice pitcher of cherry Kool-Aid. :)

ZV

EDIT: Baffled, you underestimate a lot of us when you make such comments. ;)

You have to draw the line when it comes to cookies. Kool-Aid can be replaced but cookies can't ever be. Give her a nice feisty slap on the @$$ for me the next time you see her.

That's so funny, I was drinking kool-aid and eating animal crackers when I started reading this. The kool-aid is sugar free though :(

I need to diet, and I live in the dorms so it's hard to keep sugar. Especially how much koolaid I drink, 2-3 quarts a day.
