But like the others said, I would just get a new GF. At some point she's going to ask you to pay off her debt for her. It's going to happen, guaranteed.

Has she asked her parents for any help financially?

Might be possible if her cabin is at all close to some spots like Mt. Whiteface/Lake Placid.

Lots of people put their places up as weekly rentals for vacationers.
 
Absolutely do not marry this woman.

She should be renting it out, or working a 2nd job instead of making no effort.

One time I wanted a new Porsche so I borrowed 60k for it. After a few months I didn't feel like paying that much for it and apparently it was no longer worth 60k. Now the stupid auto dealership won't take it back for what I paid for it. They are trying to tell me that my car is worth less than 60k and that they want me to continue to make payments....bunch of bitches. I did everything right. I told them they could just take the car back and we'd call it even. They are lame. I'm buying a Saturn.
 
the amount of what its going to to cost ot heat it should be looked at if you can afford the house.
