Back in September, my GF was having car problems (wouldn't start). We determined that she needed a new battery terminals (totally corroded) and a new battery. Since she was going in for service and a warranty repair anyway, we decided to let a Toyota dealership do the work. Everything seemed fine.

Fast forward to this weekend.

Her car wouldn't start, which was really strange considering the battery was replaced. We pop the hood and what do we see but the old battery and old terminals. We jump the car and drive it back to the dealership where I unload on the Asst. Manager. He apologizes, but chalks it up to "sh!t happens." They do the fix and we leave.

I am going to the dealership to talk to the Service Manager today because I think we should be compensated somehow (shouldn't have to pay for the labor, or something).

If I am not satisfied by his response, who should I contact? BBB? Toyota Corporate? The Justice League?

The BBB is a good start. The dealership will generally move quickly when the BBB contacts them. Calling the corporate office can't hurt either.

heh you may not get anything.

The first time you went back to complain you walked out happy (well maybe not but you left). so they may not do anything now.
