Anyone have any clue as to what might be going on? I know nobody here is a doctor but maybe one or more of you have gone through blurred vision and dizziness.

She works at a regular deskjob filing away things, doing accounting work, shes fairly skinny around 100lbs. Her diet is not the healthist diet around. She often times drinks soda more than she should. She rarely if ever drinks water. We usually eat out like Taco Bell, etc not the greatest meals.

If anyone has ever experienced what I typed, please post as I would like to get some info...

And of course, I'm taking her to her doctor this Saturday.

she might not eat healthy...but does she eat normal amounts of food?

I know a couple years ago I was working at my aunt's grocery store and I kinda collapsed over the register. I would've passed out and fallen on the floor if I hadn't had the register to keep me up. heh.

We found out that the reason it happened to me was that I hadn't had anything to eat all day...so my blood sugar was too low..causing me to nearly faint.

Maybe that's what's going on w/ your gf....if she's not eating enough. As her boyfriend, you are obligated to feed her and feed her right. Skinny's out buddy. hehe (like i should talk).

EDIT: grammar.

One possibility is her being dehydrated. When I used to hike a lot and get dehydrated, that would happen (although not seriously).

Best Case Scenario:
Crappy Diet. If I ate like that I wouldnt feel that great either. You are supposed to drink 1-1.5 Gallons of water a day, and eat meals that have good nutritional value(obviously). Maybe you and her should make a pact and get in shape together. I bet she(and you) would feel alot better if you did.

Worst case Scenario:
Brain Tumor. She has less than three months to live.

Make sure she's getting enough potassium. I used to have the same problems back when my diet sucked, and the doctor told me to eat 3 bananas a day + drink gatorade with every meal. Potassium intake is very important.

LOL!

No matter what is going on, someone needs to tell this Miss that a HEALTHY diet is the KEY to feeling well!

Anyone will start to get sick if they don't take care of themselves. And if she wants to look good as she gets older, she better start NOW.

<---quit smoking and started eating right and exercising years ago out of sheer vanity :p ;)

Is she located near a copier with poor ventilation? Maybe fumes? But as of right now - I would probably agree - bad diet.

i get like that alot. it probably happens to me because i usually eat once a day, and its almost always microwave pizzas. only thing i've drank in months is coke and arizona ice tea, sleep 10 hours a day. listen to music louder than i probably should. stare at a CRT the rest of the time i'm awake. and get so little sunlight that the gothic/freaky people get jelous of my pale skin. yeah, i know.... i suck at life

Does anyone know how long "tests" usually take to get done and come back? I'm talking about tests for low blood sugar, or just tests for this type of thing. Anyone have any idea?

Lots of good possibilities here.

Don't rule out the brain tumor. Sucks, but it is possible. However, it is unlikely.

Low blood sugar? Likely, but she would also get shaky, like when you haven't eaten in quite a while. My sister used to suffer from this years ago. She always carried around a little pack of peanut butter crackers for when she started to feel this way. She eventually outgrew it.

Migraine? Very possible. I used to get migraines without any pain. Odd, but possible. I was getting tunnel vision, and no other symptoms. Ended up on Fiorinal (not sure if that's even still around) because I am allergic to Codeine and can't take Tylenol-3.

If I was a betting man, I'd say a migraine. Please be sure to update this thread when you find out what it was.

I would place on my money on

1. Migraines.

2. Dehydration.

Please go see a qualified physician.

Does she have her entire range of vision. If shes missing part of her peripheral vision, which would take a vision test to be accurate, she could have a brain tumor. Its likely not the case but a brain tumor would cause dizziness, blurred vision, and loss of some her range of vision.
