I am planning to buy a GF 4 Ti4200 soon but I'm not to sure about which one to buy as I don't know what RAM most of them are using and what other extras (i.e. which games) come with the card.
I know that the 64MB version using the Hynix 3.6ns RAM usually overclock to about 600 MHz and those only using Hynix 4ns RAM get to about 570-580 MHz.
For the 128MB version all of them that I know of use Samsung 4ns RAM which overclocks to about 550 MHz except the Asus Deluxe version which uses 3ns RAM but is also as expensive as a 4400.

I think it would be useful for everyone wanting to buy a 4200 if you could post the RAM type and the extras of any cards that you know in this thread as it saves a lot of time of reading through all the reviews.

Here are the cards whose specs I know so far (most of them from Anand's roundup):

ABIT Siluro GeForce4 Ti 4200 (64MB): RAM Hynix 3.6ns
MSI G4TI4200-DT64: RAM Hynix 3.6ns Games NOLF, Aquanox, Sacrifice
Inno3D Tornado GeForce4 Ti 4200 (64MB): Hynix 3.6ns
Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/650XP (128MB): Samsung 4ns
Prolink PixelView Ti 4200 (128MB): Samsung 4ns
Visiontek Xtasy GeForce4 Ti 4200 (128MB): Samsung 4ns
Leadtek Wifast A250 LE TD (64MB): Hynix 4ns
Asus V8420/TD 64 MB: 3.5ns (seems to be the only aone to have 3.5ns but doesn't overclock better than 3.6ns cards from what I've read)

I am not sure about the Inno3D card because a German gaming hardware magazine says it has 4ns RAM
and the magazine is usually fairly reliable.

Gainward GeForce 4 Ti4200 Powerpack 650/TV (64MB, CRT+DVI+TV) has 3.5ns ram on it. I forget the vendor though, I don't really want to open up my machine right now thought.

Stock speed is 250 core / 513 memory

As I am from Germany it wouldn't pay off for me to order a card from the US. Over here the price difference between the boards is neglible, they only vary by about 10?, so I just wanna buy the card which has the best RAM and games included with it.

I looked up the Gainward 64MB 4200 on a German online store's site, they say it is only 4ns RAM and they usualy are fairly reliable when it comes to product specs.

Can anyone tell me what games are included with the cards because they are usually never listed in the reviews and most shops don't list them as well?

I can tell you for a fact Gainward ships the 64MB Ti 4200's with 3.5ns ram. Otherwise it's stock speed would be 250/444. Just go to Newegg and look at their description pages for it. Yes, I know it's a US vendor. But look at em anyway. They're generally very accurate with their product descriptions, and fairly well detailed as well.

I will tell you to be disappointed with the software bundle though, if that's one of your buying points. The retail box comes with the card, a S-Video-to-composite cable, a manual, a driver disc, WinDVD full version software DVD player, and a 1"x1" Gainward case badge.

I think the MSI is probably the best way to go for me. Although it only has 3.6ns RAM it is pretty cheap (209?), has a good heatsink/fan and also comes with as good games as you could expect. The Asus card also has 3.5ns and I think some good games as well (it's Asus) but for 249? that's a bit of a rip-off.
As for the Gainward card they might just be selling a different card over here to save some money, it wouldn't be the first time that it has been done.

As for 4ns 64MB 4200 htat run at 512MHz there are quiet a few of them. I haven't seen any 444mHz 64MB anywhere but about half of the cards I have looked at are using 4ns RAM at 512MHz. I don't have a clue why they choose to run 64MB versions with 4ns RAM at 512MHz and 128MB versions with 444MHz but they do.
