I've done this deal before and it worked out fine. Just make sure you visit the Gevalia web site and either cancel altogether or change your default scheduled coffee delivery period from 6 weeks to like 6 months so you have time to think about it... ;)

I think I may have to have 'a friend' do this deal for me cuz a programmable coffee maker would be so sweet. Coffee already brewed and waiting when I get up! :D

I jumped in on a previous deal concerning these folks.. 4 months to receive my 'gift', which was the wrong color... and I was one of the lucky ones. :p So, use a grain of salt when dealing with them.. maybe they've gained some experience/set up a better distribution since then (only a few months ago) - maybe not.

BTW, the link didn't work for me, might be my companies filtering crap though.

Ok, this may not be momentous, but as a new AT'er, I can make my first contribution of sorts... here's how I just got around the bum link...
go to the main gevalia web page...click "COFFEE" (just under HOME), then under JOIN NOW on the right side of the screen, click the drop down menu for "Select from the following" -- select "TV" then on the next page it should default to the 10 cup coffeemaker & mug deal....

I look forward to receiving this package....

If u want me to forward the offer to you, just send me a PM with your email address and I'll forward it.
It appears to have some kind of referral in it. I don't get anything out of it, but it is against the rules in here, so....

$14.95 is a bit misleading, considering shipping and HANDLING (number of people's hands that touch my order as it goes down the conveyer belt x 50 cents) is tacked on, which recovers some of their promotional loss. Oh well, BMG, Columbia House, Gevalia, Booksonline all do it, so it must be acceptable.

I'm still enjoying my free grind-n-brew Cuisinart that took them about two months to get to me after they told me it wasn't available. Just cancelled. That was a Hot Deal. Programmable coffee pot has the hot brew, programmable breadmaker has the fresh bread ready at 6:30. Mornings are a lot better now. Almost tolerable.

good point alaskadan. does anyone know how much shipping/HANDLING comes out to be?

i do need a programmable coffeemaker, but not if handling turns out to be 40 bucks...

Oops..please disregard my earlier post (hiding face in shame)... that will get you a 10 cup coffeemaker, 2 mugs, and 1 lb of coffee for $10, not the programmable maker... I called this morning to try and cancel the order (I want the programmable one!) and the CSR told me that it is too early to cancel the order -- to call back at the end of the week. Weird.

Gevalia coffee is REALLY good, and a coffee maker for $10 shipped along with a pound of quality coffee is a damn good deal, i've gotten in a few Gevalia Deals, and have a glass carafe, 4 fleece, a travel thermos, 5 pounds of coffee and 4 mugs to show for it, and i've only spent $30 so far.

Finally received the programmable coffee maker! I had to call them, but it was worth it. They gave me a discount, knocked another $5 off because it took too long.

I guess this is still valid! :D

Mine took like a week to come. It was that quick. Apparently some people get lucky? It works good. $10 for that extra incentive (coffee already brewed) to actually get out of my bed in the morning is definitely worth it!

Mine arrived in about a week. It is a very nice coffee maker and the coffee was outstanding. They were very nice when I called to cancel as well.

Mine took about 4 days to get here, the coffee was great, and I use the coffeemaker for my morning tea now. No complaints.

Just ordered the 12 cup coffee maker deal. Never tried Gevalia until I realized the company store where I work has it for $3 a box.

confused RaNd0m's link goes to grind and brew coffee maker, is that the same as the 12 cup programmable one?
