That's a good one, yougotdeals.

Thanks.

And if I like their stuff I might very well keep the subscription. Fair is fair and I hate running out of fuel 🙂

This deal was smokin' for me, literally! I got my coffee pot yesterday, plugged it in this morning and plastic-smelling smoke poured out of the water reservoir! I called Gevalia about it and they said they'd send out a new pot. My current one works, but the coffee is very weak and tastes a bit of plastic (I've had their coffee and it's not this weak when brewed on another maker). Service is great so far. The coffee maker... not so much. 😉

Cool, I needed a new coffee maker and this price was just right plus the two free 1/2 lb samples also helped.

Their regular coffee makers are usually name brands. Last year I got in on the deal for the maker with an integrated grinder and it was the Cuisinart brand. BB has it for like $75.00. Too bad the grinder really sucked, it grounded too coarse, as a result I had a very weak coffee. Oh well...

I don't think this is name brand. On the bottom it says "Global Marketing Corp".

Yeah, I think the stainless steel one for like $15 is rumored to be cuisinart too.

neat🙂

but just a tip, do not use an 8 cup coffee maker to make a single serving. it doesn't work well, the water isn't warm enough for that short amount of time. some higher end ones have a single serving mode, but most do not. so just remember that if u don't actually brew that much and don't want weak ick coffee🙂 and don't be stingy with the grind. overextraction = weak nasty coffee.

If you like singles, I hear that these senseo things are pretty good.

(that't not a place with a deal, but just so you see what I'm talking about). I think those have gone on sale pretty cheap too.

In like Flynn for the thermal carafe. I'm not expecting miracles, but hopefully it'll at least work for more than a few weeks. Thanks, ygd.

naw those are overpriced. consumer guide even says so, and selection ofcoffee limited. simply use smaller coffee maker or personal coffee maker for single servings. 4 cuppers tend to be "single" serving since 1 cup is what? 6-8oz? thats tiny
