:( I know your pain. My fiancee wants to take a little break to make sure that I'm the one for her. I asked her, plain and simple, "Shouldn't you have done that before you said 'yes'?"
OUCH!!!!!! That hurts, especially when it is interpreted......."I have met someone who is better looking and may have a bigger penis and more money than you and I would like to see if it goes anywhere before I settle". Sorry dude but you need to run hard, fast, and never look back.

Can't. I love her more than I love myself. We're both young, so I understand he feelings, and I know she'll come back. In the meantime, I'm occupying myself by dating her best friend.
HAHAHAHAHA......hats off to ya buddy! If you have the balls to stick it out then great. Does the best friend understand the situation? If so then fvck her every which way from Tuesday as often as you can.

I'm really good friends her, so she knows that this is all in good fun. Neither of us is expecting anything out of the relationship other than a good time.

You only believe that because you have not met the right person, have patience.

"Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely." -Unknown

dunno who said that first, but it's been told to me several times. I think there's a lot of truth to it. After having my heart broken a few times, i still know that all the enjoyment and great memories i have were worth it. It'll hurt for a while, but eventually you'll be able to look back and be happy.

personally, i dont go for the whole "get trashed and find someone else" routine...it might be an alright way to forget things, but when you lose your bf/gf you should mourn it the same way you would losing a family member (alright, maybe not exactly the same, but close if you were in love with them). mourning a loss is part of the healing process.

You have become my own, personal hero.

Anyway, my sympathies to toolgirl, notfred, and nan0bug. I've been there. I had a 3.5 year relationship end, but that was over 2.5 years ago. The pain goes away.
