getting windows update without internet

i have a desktop that has no internet access, but laptop which does. how can i download windows updates onto the laptop for the desktop? the desktop is a new win2k sp4 install ... thanks!

If no one can tell you how, you can always get free cds from Microsoft with the updates. ;)

Damn, that's pretty crappy. That was one of the few things I thought Microsoft was doing right. :p

Why? SP2 contains all the updates that the old update CD used to have. Just order SP2 on CD and you'll be set:

That's what I thought, but wouldn't it be smarter to just direct people going to that page to the sp2 page? :p

Good to know for sure though. I've got the cd, I just need a copy of XP now... :D
