Need some opinions from you guys and gals. If I were to subscribe to just 1 premium movie channel which would give me the most recently released movies? If I subscribed to 2, would I have them all covered? I was thinking Starz and HBO, but Cinemax seems to have a more total movies. Which channels did you all choose?

Starz + Cinemax and/or Showtime

Unfortunately you'll never get all the good movies and you'll always find that the movie you've been waiting for is on the channel you don't have. :)

I'd get Starz and HBO if I had the cash. Cinemax shows mostly older movies, nothing too new. HBO has great series like The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, and Curb Your Enthuesiam (sp)

There's a TON of softcore porn on cinemax now I guess, my older sister got it for like $5/mo more on top of HBO figuring there'd be a couple movies each month worth watching. She was no pleased with the massive amounts of porn though :)

That's the specific reason I won't buy HBO. I hate their series.

I don't buy it either, but that's just because in college, $20/month is better spent on the electric bill so I can actually watch TV.

Still, I buy the DVDs and catch the series whenever I can, besides, there's something about seeing Tony Soprano beat a man with a telephone handset that makes me smile.
