actually, from what my gf said, the fat lady got stuck in the car and wouldnt stop screaming. lol. being fat must suck hardcore.

Well don't forget, suing is in civil court. In civil court you don't have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt. Criminal court basically takes 100% being sure to convict, but in civil all it takes is 51%. A good lawyer that can spin words and situations can win the case for the fat lady.

Luckily, most cases like this that go to court don't last long and almost never go good for the plantiff. I've been stuck on one of these juries, and after hearing the 1st claim at the begining everyone on the jury had made up their minds.

Does anyone in America take responsibility for their actions anymore? I work with a guy who at 50 years old still blaims eveyone else for is own screwups. I even called him on it in a big meeting once.

And yes, yourl lady should fight it. The fat lady would not win the case. Fat lady might only if she has a good lawyer.
