Getting stalked by roadside assistance!

My 2002 Hyundai elantra hit a curb last night and shattered the front wheel and such (and god knows what else) so I called hyundai's free roadside assistance to tow her to the dealership - they did so quickly and without much fuss.. But I'm still getting calls from their automated system! Since 10 pm I've received 5 calls -"Your service will arrive in an hour!" "How do you rate your service?" Argh! Two of those calls came since 8 am today, make it stop, make it stop!

Hmm my gf did the same thing to her Honda the other day, hit a curb and busted a wheel.

Nope, two entirely different scenarios.

In your gf's case, she hit the curb and busted a wheel.

In the OP's case:
My 2002 Hyundai elantra hit a curb last night and shattered the front wheel

the car hit the curb and busted a wheel. 🙂

hah.. i was driving the car, yes I admit it. i just wanted to get the make and model out with as few words as possible.. "i was driving my" would have added words and I think it's pretty obvious that i was driving since our car driving robot overlords haven't been created.. yet..

At least you didn't hit a crub, four brick and some burshes.

(really lame in-joke from another forum) 😛

Make a movie out of this. It's too fraught with existentsial significance not to. But make the film allegorical. Cast yourself as the car and Angelina Jolie as the curb. Then slam into her, rinse, and repeat. I guarantee you won't be calling for roadside assistance!

I'll play the part of the Hyundai if you need a stunt double. I'll swap with you just before you hit Angie's "curbs".

Wow, what an ugly picture of her...
