Monterey, CA was fine and great during the summer when it was mostly warm and sunny but now pretty much every day around 4:00 PM until maybe 11:00 AM it is constantly ridiculously thick fog.

Getting sick of it and it's starting to piss me off.

That's all.

Yeah, especially during the colder months when that is all I have to live for. Five hours of sunlight during the school hours just isn't cutting it. :(

Watch out for crazy monsters coming out of the ground, ala Silent Hill. Maybe it's time to start packing heat?

Monterey is nice, but I would crazy from boredom after a few months.
Can't imagine living there during winter time.

Then what you need is some sort of monstrous heat device to burn off the fog.

I assume a 20 mile radius would be sufficient. I would think 50-70 kilotons would do the job. If you could shape the charge you'd get more bang for the buck. A parabolic shaped barrier suspended over ground zero might be the trick.

Of course you'd have to do this daily.

If you're not taking vitamins, start. Make sure you're getting enough D.

See, I'm the opposite. I'd rather have snow and cold weather and sun than very little sun and 40ish degree weather.

Honestly, there's little that annoys me more than cold days when it's sunny outside. If it's snowing, then that just adds insult to injury. I'm not sure why, really.

I tend to love overcast days, and if I'm a few miles from the ocean it's all the better.

You moved to Monterey and complain about fog? That's like moving to Texas and complaining about big hair.

Ever get a chance to head down to the Carmel, Big Sur, etc.? Love that area.

I'll second that. In fact, I'd go as far to say that those that don't like fog are goddamn communists that want to destroy democracy.

Yeah, I go down there frequently. Big Sur is beautiful and the drive down is amazing. For fun the other night, I took my buddies bike up to San Francisco on the 1. That was a crazy ride.
