Getting Setiwatch to work

SlangNRox

Golden Member
I just started up Seti again under the name SlangNRox. Installed the command line client and and using it with setlog. When I try to go to completed work units to see my times and also so i can view the sky map setwatch says it has caused an internal error and will shutdown. I really want to see my times for recent work units and I was wondering if anyone knew what was wrong.
I have run setiwatch fine in the past using an older version. I am now using the newest version due to the fact that i don't have the old version anymore. I do have a setilog.csv file.
If anyone else has had this problem or know how to fix it please tell me. Otherwise I will probably switch back to rc5 again

are you just wanting to see the times and spikes and such? If so I use setispy, keeps a nice little log for you. Haven't tried setiwatch but will here in a sec and see if I have the same prob.

You did make sure you have setiwatch in the same file as the client right?
I just downloaded it and it shows me everything sky map and all.

If it is in the same file then I would suggest downloading again.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for posting the old version. Still get this when i right click in the completed work units tab. Guess its just something wrong with my computer since setilog is making a csv and i can't seem to find anything else wrong.
"Setiwatch has caused an error in
SETIWATCH.EXE
Setiwatch will now close.
If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting you computer."
