Getting secure connetion fail error messages

I'm getting the following error message when trying to connect to some websites. The first was amazon and it has happened with a couple other. Most sites work fine like this one. Can anyone tell me where the problem is? Is there something wrong on my end? I'm running Firefox 47.0.1

An error occurred during a connection to www.amazon.com. Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT

This is not uncommon in Firefox. Mozilla says it is the website's problem. The websites say otherwise. These apply:

There have been DDoS attacks today, so many sites are affected. I have been unable to connect to my Playstation Vue tv service since around 11:00 am, and I have been receiving the same messages.

Make sure your date and time are correct and or check these settings.
