Well Let me explain this as quickly as i can. I have 3 drives.

C. Pri Master.. 80 Gig with windows 2000 installed
D. Pri Sec....... 60 Gig With Redhat 8 installed (installed in a Removable Bay)

E. Sec Master 120 Gig with Data file (NTFS)

I had windows 2000 installed then i added the 60 gigger to add redhat and now i have the redhat GRUB bootloader, When ever I Have the 60 gig drive out (off) Windows does not load as that drive holds boot records and it just freezes at GRUB load screen. My master boot on the C drive is trying to access the D drive and without it the computer does not boot anything

I recently decided to move my linux setup to another computer, What is the best way to remove the linux drive which hold boot records and be able to load windows 2000 without it trying to access the D drive....

In another words how the heck do i remove GRUB from my master boot:)

I can do fdisk /mbr but woudn't this also disable win2k from loading correctly?

pop in your win2k cd and boot to recovery console. then do "fixmbr" this will restore the win2k boot loader. it wont hurt to also run "fixboot" at that time.
