I'm planning an awesome party at my place in Chattanooga....everyone's invited.

So far I'm going to have:
1. Pitchers and pitchers of margaritas
2. Keg of Dos Equis Lager
3. Homemade Authentic Beef Enchiladas
4. Homemade Authentic Pork Tamales
5. Chicken Quesadillas
6. Queso Dip, Salsa, and Chips
7. Plenty of Ice for Icing down Coronas
8. A Pinata filled with candy (what else should I fill it with?)
9. Some Mexican Music to add to the ambiance

I'll be sure to post pictures of the party.... Anyone need directions? PM me. :) It starts at 5:30pm.

I think I could drink enough of that free booze to cover the cost of the flight...

Vegas Baby! Vegas!

Every year a bunch of my college buddies get together in the spring somewhere. We've done South Beach, New Orleans, DC, etc. and we're doing Vegas this year...May 5th-9th. I'll be getting there at about 10am on May 5th...and will pretty much commence drinking at that moment.

Considering the Dos Equis keg was $135, you're probably right. Flights to chattanooga will be cheapest on Delta most likely. There are connections from O'hare, Atlanta, D.C.(Reagan), NY (La Guardia), and Charlotte.

There's no such thing as a lame excuse to drink....unless it has something to do with having too many wine coolers in your fridge...

How about I just buy a seat for the keg and you send it over here?

I'm sorry, but CdM is lame. Americans can't stand Mexicans for the most part, but they're all about making themselves sick on Margaritas and salsa once a year. :p

St Pat's is also lame. Everyone running around in green discussing the fine points of their Irish heritage.

"Yeah, my mother's father's sister's dog's housekeeper's headlice were from Ireland...."

Not true...I eat 50 cent tacos and drink mexican beer every Monday at the local mexican joint at the end of my street. As far as the margaritas go....I make some smooth margaritas because I've been doing it a while. It's one of my favorite summer drinks...along with wheat ales. I know what you're saying about those who are basically party posers...but my roommate and I both make EXCELLENT mexican food. Thus...everything at this party is going to be better than what you can even buy in mexican restaurants. Go figure...we know what we like and plan on hooking up some friends with a good time in the process.

I'm going to have parties at my place pretty regularly in the next couple of years as I keep getting my patio finished off, so if you're too lazy to drive up from Atlanta on a Thursday night, I'll keep you posted on future shindigs.

Cinco de Mayo = morons driving around with the mexican flag taped to the hood of their vehicle, gang violence, and a whole bunch of other morons driving around honking their horn for something they have no clue about. hell most of them think its the mexican independence celebration.

I'm part Irish and celebrate both. ;) Of course, even without Cinco de Mayo, I would be doing the same thing to celebrate Thursday.

I can't figure out why people would bag on a good excuse to drink and eat Mexican (or Irish) food....

Food sounds, good but I'm gonna have to question the choice of beer. The only difference between Dos Equis and Budweiser is a border crossing.

One should never stand while taking a "#2".

One should always remain seated for this application.
