Gas I can deal with. I use maybe 7-8 gallons a week. What I'm not looking forward to is the utility bill this winter. Utility bill back in 2001 used to be under $200 a month even in the worst winter months. This winter I'm expecting $600+ during those worst winter months. It's pretty messed up when it costs more to heat an apartment than to rent it. :(

So what? Just because other countries pay more, we should be glad it's "only" around $3/gallon? Other countries have always paid more, and it's mostly by choice (80% tax in the UK)...

80% tax is only the upper tax bracket for people with like $1m income.

no, that is how they tax the rich people. only wealthy people can afford to drive in the UK.

every country gets tax from the rich. they choose to do it through gas. it is so annoying that you stupid a$$holes keep comparing our gas to other countries.

hahaha $3/gallon???

Last time I filled up was at 3.69/gallon. Looks to be around 3.20/gallon this week, but due to our stupid ass gas cap law, its gonna spike next week to around there again.
