Getting Qwest DSl

Was wondering what this "mulit-pc" qwest dsl modem was they will be sending? Is it like a router built into a modem? Does it assign diff IP's to the devices? I think you can hook up to 5 devices into it, so I take it thats its a router/mdel modem thingy...?

It does act as a router of sorts:

1. It offers DHCP services.
2. It performs NAT.
3. It has a very, very basic firewall.

The model I saw and worked with did not have a switch integrated so if yours doesn't you'll have to buy an additional switch.
