anybody heard of http://www.ktyrecruitment.com
they pay you to take surveys, but they require you to pay to sign up
sounds shady to me
i was wondering if anybody here's heard of it or tried it
i think there might be more strings attached (other than the required sign-up fee)

uhh, yea. I get this kind of spam all the time. Why would you believe anything that someone spams you for? Have you EVER heard of a legitimate program that requries you to pay to be told how to make money?

lol, I warned my friend not to do it. He did it anyway, and now he doesent even use the site. A total waste of money. You have to actually try your best to find a survey, it aint like you get all these surveys and they pay you. You have to be eligible and have to actually spend alot of time finding them.

My roommate used to do surveys for money. If I remember correctly, he used to get from $2 to $5 a month when he did it. I'm pretty sure there were no sign up fees involved back then. I wouldn't do it if they had sign up fees or asked for any credit card/bank info.

Edit: I'm pretty sure he didn't use that site.

My favorite is local focus groups.

They call and screen you to make sure that you meet their criteria. If you do, you visit their office for 1-2 hours and get paid $50 - $200 in CASH for your time.

You just sit around in a focus group, look at pictures, talk about the product and answer their questions.
