Getting paid for online surveys

Has anyone ever done one of those sites that pays you to do product and market research surveys? Most of them charge you some nominal joiners fee ($20 or so) and then pay you to complete surveys. I suspect it's a case of "too good to be true", but I was wondering if any ATOTers actually have any experience with such companies.

i hear that they don't always pay out, but your results may vary. it really depends.

Yeah, I participate in a few of them...you don't make much...don't pay to join the site though, stick with the ones that are free to join..

The one's that I listed above do not require that information.
