Getting paid by Paypal check funds

Trying to sell an item here, i want payment in non CC funds.
Buyer wants to pay me with Paypal funds linked to his checking account.
(he says he's going to write a check to Paypal for the amount of the item)

Question.....Will paypal charge me a fee if I accept this type of payment ???
Any other pitfalls with check funded Paypal payment???

Thanks in advance....

This is not a general hardware question... I'd try the FS/FT forum. Or maybe even PayPal. They would tell you about what charges, if any, will be levied...

I guess the world is moving up. paypal is hardware? lol

Off Topic forum is two doors down. This way. --->

Yeah, just to answer your question, no they will not charge you if it's paid via check or bank transfer unless you are a Premier member.

Hi bendixG15,

Excuse the blank post...

The buyer would simply need to log in and send an echeck to you using their PayPal account (requires having a bank account on file). PayPal does not accept deposits through written checks.

^ I'm going to agree with this guy, (he works at paypal ! ? )

If your not a premeir member you can get check pmts for free, or credit pmts cost money.
