I have a $20 promotional gift card that expires tomorrow, so I figured I would do their curbside takeaway.

A small order of the Aussie Cheese Fries is a must, but what should I get for my main course? Currently I'm thinking Prime Rib with garlic mashed potatoes.

Below is a menu. What would you guys go for?

PRIME RIB IS FOR DINNER!

Seriously why consider anything else? The fries + more carbs may not be all that healthy but they are pretty good.

Real men eat red meat btw.

Real men also dont need 2 adjectives before their steak. It's ribeye, strip, t-bone, porter or w/e but anything else is likely meant for women.

Prime Rib it is.

I know the Cheese Fries are a bit much, but I won't finish the entire meal. It's also my birthday today, and I ran a 5k for the first time in my life this morning, so I'll splurge a bit.

I honestly came into the thread to make fun of you for planning to eat Outback. But considering the circumstances, free prime rib doesn't sound bad at all.

lol nice. Consuming more calories than burned is a great way to reward exercise.

Outback is okay but they're overpriced. It's a "okay" steak at best that poses as a premium steak.

Actually they are pretty cheap compared to higher end steakhouses. But I wouldnt even consider it an "okay" steak.

I think the most expensive steak at Outback is probably around $30. I had a much smaller cut (filet) at Old Homestead for more than double that.

But as the saying gos, you get what you pay for

my parents are friends with some of the trio that made it happen. If you are all frou-frou and looking for the best eats, or cheap it's not for you. If you are looking for a great eating experience then it's a fun place for a dinner.

I was unimpressed with the prime rib there. I'll stick with the ribs.

Outback isn't bad. It's not Charlie Palmer, but it's not meant to be.

Personally, I think the Rack of Lamb is the best thing they have on their menu. Subject, of course, to the person firing the grill.

I fail to understand why people need other peoples input when it comes to ordering food. Order what YOU want, not what other people tell you.

Prime Rib + Mashed Potatoes = Win

Yeah, Outback isn't the best but it's pretty good none the less. I'd rather make my own steak.

If you don't get prime rib then you're just a failure
