Getting new HD...

I currently have a 30gb and 300gb Maxtor drives, I'm getting another 300gb tommorow,

My choices:

ATA/133 w/16mb buffer for $269.95: http://cbit.ca/mb/retail_productdetail.asp?Cat=12&SubCat=343&ProdNo=HDD-M15-400

Or:

SATA w/8mb buffer for $279.95: http://cbit.ca/mb/retail_productdetail.asp?Cat=12&SubCat=341&ProdNo=HDD-M15-220

My 300 right now is SATA, I'd really like for the new one to be SATA as well, because tbh, IDE cables suck. Does the 16mb buffer really make a difference if I'll just be storing things like movies, music etc?

(Prices are CDN, and are the best in Winnipeg, so don't say get it from tigerdirect etc.)

I'd see if you can find a different retailer that sells the new Seagate 7800.8 HD's at a similar price. You can always get the Diamondmax 10's and then buy a IDE to SATA adapter.
