Getting movies on mirc????

i am mirc challenged b/c i have never really used it to much i have no idea where to look for current movies on there

i really want fast and furious but i didn't know where to get it....anybody can ya help me or know where i can get it?
 
You can get it where somebody used their camcorder to tape the movie in the theater... but they suck just go to the movie buddy if you want to watch any movie that has sweet sound and cars. Movie detail with downloads SUCK and sound SUCKS on camcorders! Its $5 don't be a cheapa$$
 
try going to dalnet or undernet or efnet servers!
try #cablemovies, or #cablempg or just get the list of channels available...
 
the new Jurassic Park 3 telecine is fvcking amazing. I don't know how they got it so soon or how they managed to score a direct off the reel copy but movie distributors need to do something.
 
Yeah, no kididng, my time to find the movie and download it is worth way more then the cost to see it. And I get to relax for a couple hours!

And don't expect to jump on IRC and find movies. It's VERY complicated, and people won't help you.

So you saw it? Worth my 6.25 to go see it at the cheap theators? Is it worth $8.25 to see it at the new theator with excellent sound?
 
Hey now we aren't gonna be condoning anything that is not legal. Its not like I'm endorsing that you can go to mirc chat rooms and meet some people who have ftp servers where you can get movies from. No don't do things like that.

I thought it came out Wednesday? I was going to drive out and see it then, but I dont want to spend the time/money if it sucks. I'll prolly just wait a week and catch it a week from friday
 
you can try to look around and find it on the net. by fvcking amazing, i meant the quality of the vcd. it's direct from the reel, hence telecine.
 
Well, I'm on dialup, and basiclly itd take me 4 days just to get one CD. By the time I got the entire movie, I'd have made 40x the cost of the ticket working. I think I'll just wait for the AT Forum review 😀

I have Fast and Furious, JP3, Final Fantasy, etc. on my PC at home. you can get them on Undernet or dalnet. Do a channel search for divx or movies, something thats along thoose lines and join channels with the most people.

It helps if you have movies to trade too.

I saw the rip of fast, a lot of the sound was missing, and a few of the parts were missing(compared to the final cut..)
 
Just a pet peeve of mine here, but the proper question would be more like &quot;Getting movies on IRC?????&quot;

MIRC is an irc client, just as is pirch and bitch x. The way you say it is like &quot;getting files on cuteftp?&quot; where it should be &quot;getting files over FTP&quot; You're trying to refer to the medium or protoca\ol not the client. At least thats how I view it, now my minor rant is over, good luck 😉 😀

I always thought the &quot;internet&quot; more or less ment the huge connection of FTP/IRC servers (any pc connected to another), plus the WWW. The WWW is just the web site parts of it.

Course, thats just my definition
 
The WWW is a part of the Internet, just as Telnet, FTP, and anything else is apart of it (even AOL 😉). The Internet is the whole of all those things. Kind of like how you have roosters and hens, but they are all chickens. 🙂
