Getting Married Saturday - Need help with the 1st dance song

The SO and myself are up in the air still as to what to play for a first song at the reception. We don't want anything really long or really sappy. What we've come up so far are:

Peter Gabriel - In your eyes
Cheap Trick - The Flame
Eric Clapton - Wonderful tonight
Pink Floyd - Wish you were here / also maybe Cofortably Numb.

What do you think?? Any other suggestions?

Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here are awesome songs, but I don't know if I would put them as the first dance at my wedding.

I was at a wedding recently where they used Robert Plant's cover of "Song to the Siren". The song is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. I highly recommend you check it out.

Yeah, those might be weird for a wedding song. LOL

Edit: My wife and I danced to "Open Arms" by Journey.

Etta James - At last? I think thats the name of it. Good song not too mushy.

Big pimp Eric C. is always good too.

we had 'Earth Angel' by Marvin Berry & the Starlighters 😉

difficult to know what to suggest as it's such a personal choice

U2: "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"

ok but seriously: "Lady in Red" (even though she'll be in white)
Frank Sinatra - That's All
Adam Sandler - Grow Old With You (from The Wedding Singer)

eh, that song isn't really suitable for a wedding. It's more for a funeral, really.

I also recommend Journey - Faithfully
