McDonalds Offers Wedding And Engagement Packages

Fast food weddings may not be everyone’s dream wedding, but for some, it’s just what they’re looking for.

Select McDonald’s locations in Hong Kong are going to offer wedding packages for the bride on a serious budget – a banquet feast of fast food only costing hundreds of US dollars as opposed to thousands for a traditional wedding.

On top of the burgers and fries, McDonald’s will supply a wedding cake made of apple pies, said a McDonald’s spokeswoman. However, guests will have to make do without champagne – the restaurants are not licensed to have alcohol in their restaurants.

Do bride and groom get a ceremonial happy meal -- to take home and preserve for as long as their marriage lasts?

that kinda shit is always the womans idea.

My wife would definitely do this for an anniversary party. We met while working at McDonald's. She wanted to stop by one for wedding pictures with the bridal party but there wasn't time.

I just attended a low-key wedding where they had a guy grilling up tacos. Obviously the couple was on a budget. but i was like damn, this is way better than most hotel crap that you get at your typical weddings

Yowser. Nothing says "you are special and mean the world to me, I'd do anything in the world for you" like "I'd like a happy meal, some fries and a wedding package please" LOL

went to a kid's bday party at a mcdonalds... man I hadn't feasted on McD's like that in a long while... loved it. For a wedding with 50+ guests all dressed up? Nah...

should be easy for the wait staff to keep track of the guests' orders.
they got ours wrong... they had to put in another order... maybe someone stole ours... it was 1) order, 2) then they brought it all out and 3) we all grabbed what we supposedly ordered.

By the way, typical american weddings suck... a single slab of meat that you wait an hour for? You've gotta be kidding me. I eat more than that for lunch. I'm not a huge fan of asian weddings either (not into seafood) but it's a sh!t ton better. How do you feed your guests a small single dish for an entree for a 3-hr event? It must all go to service $.
