Getting low FPS in games with my new ram? HyperXpc3500

Ran 3dMark2001se and SOF2 and have been getting lower fps than my 2 x 256 pc2100 micron technology @ 160x15:
2 x 256 mb pc 3500 HyperX Kingston Ram , Memory timings set to SPD
217x11@1.7Vcore and 2.8V on Vdimm
AGP is set to 66 mhz @ default Voltage
Abit NF7-S
Any ideas?

I used to have hyperx pc3500 in my nf7. It liked to run at Cas 2-2-3-7 with 2.9V up to 225 FSB. It was very fast.
Even wth looser ram timings your new ram should be way faster than what you had before. Put it at the settings I mentioned above and boot into memtest86. See if its error free. If you got the wrong revision of hyperx it won't work with your mb very well.

Edit: I just saw your other post about having different versions of hyperx. You should try them with memtest86 one stick at a time. I used to have the 2.5V version and had to RMA it to kingston because it wouldn't run high FSB on my NF7. Kingston RMA is easy, they will ship first.
