I am getting kicked off by Dalnet on IRC for my Barricade SMC firewall. I read the instructions on how to either use the special applications of the administartor's options to the barricade but am not sure what to enter there.
Let us say I am on Ip numbers issued by the barricade:
abc.def.ghi.1
and abc.def.ghi.7 and
abc.def.ghi.13
as ID 1, 2 and 3 what do I enter for triger what for Incoming ports to copy to the barricade? all I want to do is during loging to Dalnet or any other IRC server to enable my IdentD to them during log on and then I set my Mirc to not alllow any one past my firewall after logon.
I assume everyone who buyes the barricade oor anyother router with a forewall will neeed to set that up.
If u did this and it works for u please help what u can here and the rest to my e-mail if u feel it is more appropriate.
